What we built. How we built it.

See the engineering behind the products and projects: our role, the implemented systems and where each piece of work stands.

  1. 01 / AI agents & automation

    Ascape

    Live product

Product engineering in partnership with Accelerare.

    AI workflows with human control.

Agents need more than a prompt to do useful work. Ascape brings tools, workflow steps, approvals and run history into one workspace.

    Implemented
Agents and workflows, connected tools, approval gates and run records.
    How it works
Scoped access, durable execution and interoperability through MCP, A2A, REST and GraphQL.
  2. 02 / Software & private AI

    Crux

    Live product

    VexWorks product engineering.

One place to work across your devices.

Crux connects AI sessions and local models across computers, phone and watch, while each device retains its own tools and sign-ins.

    Implemented
A connected hub, device agents, web and desktop interfaces, iPhone and Apple Watch apps.
    How it works
Node.js, WebSockets, signed device connections and local-model routing.
  3. 03 / Computer vision

    Pier 60

    Working demo

Founder-led work under Revenue Optimization Group, LLC, before VexWorks was formed.

Turning a changing rental layout into data.

A computer-vision demo that detects beach rental units, classifies occupancy and maps their positions as the layout changes.

    Implemented
Custom YOLO models, labeling tools, curated datasets and rental-position mapping.
    How it works
Python, detection and occupancy classification, geometry and recorded-occupancy evaluation.
  4. 04 / Workforce learning software

    Accelerare FDE Academy

    Working prototype

Engineering of the Academy learning frontend, practice labs and progress tools.

Help teams practice AI before using it at work.

Role-based learning paths, synthetic practice labs and portable progress records give teams a way to prepare for an AI rollout.

    Implemented
Adaptive paths, simulated workflows, learning records and cohort CSV reporting.
    How it works
Typed curriculum and deterministic practice scenarios, with progress stored in the browser.

How we work

Clear scope, working software, honest numbers.

A defined project, an architecture review or ongoing support. We agree on the scope and how to measure progress before building.

  1. Scope

We start with the problem, the data and what “done” looks like, then agree on a plan in writing.

  2. Build

Short iterations, working software early, and measurements instead of guesses.

  3. Hand over

Code, documentation and deployments you own, with ongoing support if you want it.

Built to stay yours. Readable code, documentation and deployments you can run and change, with support available after handover.

Meet VexWorks
Before we talk

A few useful answers.

Still figuring it out? A short outline is enough to begin the conversation.

Tell us about your project
Do we need a finished specification?

No. Start with the problem, who it affects and what you would like to improve. If you already have data, a prototype or a timeline, include that too. We define the scope together.

Can you work with our existing systems?

Yes. Our work includes integrations, APIs, internal tools and deployment on cloud, self-hosted and edge infrastructure. We review what you have and the access needed before agreeing on an approach.

Can our AI run on our own hardware?

We build private and local model deployments. Whether that is the right fit depends on your data, hardware and the task. We evaluate those constraints and explain when a cloud service would be involved.

How are cost and timing decided?

They depend on the scope, data, integrations and deployment requirements. We start by defining the outcome and a plan in writing. Projects, advisory work and ongoing support are available.

What happens when I contact you?

The contact form prepares an email draft for you to review and send in your email app. You can also copy the complete message into webmail. The website itself does not send your message.

Have a project in mind?

Tell us what you want to improve, what you have today and any timeline. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll say so.
